Billboard House
Billboard House was largely inspired by the Fight Club soundtrack. Like many of the songs on Alloy, earlier versions of this song had a completely synthetic drum track. The recorded drum samples in the bridge of the song were later introduced after the discovery was made with Melody Assistant that audio sampling is possible. The live drums sound was used to add power to the bridge.
Live performances
Billboard House was one of the first songs performed live (if not the first). This was at a small show, opening for The Volt Per Octaves. It has only been performed with the drum track silenced so that live drums can be played along with it, just like many other songs by White Plastiq.
